Four Highland Park students earn 24-25 Pathway to Biliteracy Award
The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized four HPE students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.
Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.
The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:

**Indicates a student is receiving the award for a third time
- Korean: Asher Cha** (3rd grade)
- Russian: Evan Antonets** (5th grade)
- Spanish: Ezra Cupp* (3rd grade), Aaron Cupp (1st grade)
